Blog 2

Hello, I have been really honored at reading the text, and reading people blogs, and it is and has been really interesting to me that we are all different as individuals, and not seeing a persons color and  reading what they have to say takes me back to my childhood. My parents has alway told me it doesn't matter what color you are we are humans with the same organs, we just have different up bringing and I feel like reading everyones discussions, blogs I see that we speak the same language kind of.  I have been a  victim of racism and it is not at all a good feeling to have.  I feel at times when I was in middle school dealing with different views by different people, was really hard.  It was also hard to understand that we have all been brought up different ways, I didn't understand at how people could be so cruel.  I had letters posted on my lockers everyday calling me the N wd. death threats. That was always the scary part because you don't really know a person's capabilities.  I was always raised to treat people how they treat you.  I lost a good friend to racism, her dad didn't like African Americans, but he dealt with me, until he felt he couldn't allow his daughter to keep hanging with me because of his beliefs. (CRAZY) I know. Life is crazy as I see it, I hope my son will never experience this like I did, but as long as I know I have taught him well, and to put no color on anyone, I can only say that he will be well off in the long run, only if society today could see it like that!
